Further to my visit to the beer festival on Saturday, I must admit it was an improvement on last year. We felt it was advertise better, the food on offer was better, but a little over priced. We like the idea of different priced tokens as some of our group enjoy the festival but do not drink large amounts. I hope it was a success for you. It was also better with more people. One very disappointing part was whose idea was it to issue pint glasses, over the last fifteen years we have visited about three or four festivals a year, never before have we had pint glasses. This is an event where people like to sample several different real ales not drink pints. I know the glasses were marked for a half, but it is not done. Perhaps it would be useful if the organiser came along to some local festivals like Devizes, Seend or Chippenham. Finally these were plastic, what happened to the nice glasses we had last year.
