with regards to the comments regarding under-agers in the premises we operate a challenge 21 on the door and our door staff id everyone..if this was such a problem when the gentleman who commented on this when he was in,why did he not approch the door staff and advised them of this..it actualy sounds a case of bitching about the staff or club as he has probaly been refused entry or been asked to leave the premises

Pebbles nightclub in Troon is getting worse. Good music, fair selection of shots, good service. But the biggest problem is the state of the club. I'm sure when drunk it won't matter, but if you go in sober, as I did, you notice how filthy the dance floor is at the sides and the cracks on the tiles. Underage drinkers as I've learned through my last few visits is a big problem. I had 5 people ask me to go and pay for their drinks in one night, what ARE the door stewards doing? One barman reported someone who did exactly that (asked me to buy their drink, since he had no identification) but the steward "knew them" and they were "of age". It wasn't too busy so I discussed it with the barman, the barman said that happens all the time even though he knows he is not of age. thankfully the barman had the common sense to not serve them in any case, but no doubt he got his drink at another bar. I'm not usually a critic. I visited this club a few times and had no problems. I'm sure it was once a fine establishment, but I feel it's day will soon be by if nothing is done to improve quality of the club. Not only this, but strict new measures must be taken to control the annoying underage drinkers. They really do make the club seem tacky.
