This is an ex nursing home. It looks like one and smells like one. The whole place has basically never been touched since the last nursing home resident left or died apart from cutting the call bell cords in the rooms. It is very dated through out and half the plugs in our room did not work and the others you had to give the plugs a hard shove before the others worked. On the plus side a good breakfast and a fabulous house but in need of an upgrade. This place could be so much more but I suspect the owner is bleeding every last penny out of the place before closing. The owner very nice but not on site except to meet you and make breakfast. I would not stay there again.

fabulous building & surroundings but it was obviously used to be a nursing home... my room had a call bell!! the rooms were clean but the carpets somewhat old. the bathrooms were also clean but astonishingly dated & the one closest to my room didn't have a functioning lock. it could be so much better... breakfast was terrific & their kindness couldn't be faulted.
the House is sadly neglected & uncared for - does the Lounge room really need 2 tv's & pot puri still in its wrapper? A really wasted opportunity
