Good Points: The food was excellent and on site parking
Bad Points: The hotel is in dire need of a good clean and redecorating.Wall paper is hanging of the walls in the room and dust everywhere. Not suitable for families if staying for an evening meal owing to the bad language of locals in the bar.
General review: It served its purpose.

Good Points: staff at hotel very friendly. The couple who ran the hotel were fantastic. They helped make our stay a terrific experince. Food was good in a nice pub atmosphere. Staff at hotel very friendly and did everything possible to make us welcome. Steve and Maggie Coxhead who ran the hotel were fantastic. Food
Bad Points: The hotel does need some refurbishing. Internet would be a nice addition. Would have liked a telephone in room as well. Did find the price a bit high considering the age of the hotel. It is a bit rundown.
General review: Overall a very nice time and enjoyed the people very much. Everyone so very friendly and could not do enough for us. The couple who ran this hotel are amazing. Once again, the hotel does need some refurbishing and modern amnenities.
