I have stayed here every month for 2 years and would not stay anywhere else. The rooms are comfortable the staff are unbeatable and the food is out of this world. All is very reasonably priced and excellent quality. I would nevr stay anywhere else when in the area. Also the chips will never be beaten!!

An all round good place to stay EXCEPT that if you are in the new build of the hotel and staying downstairs then be prepared to be sharing with "Big foot ane the Hendersons"!!! Hats off to the builders who must of place 2mm of tissue paper between the floors! After an 8.5hr drive we thought we could get 1hr shut eye...wrong, it was hidious! all other aspects were good but if you are staying there as a base for Newcastle then dont. Its a £20-25 taxi fare and if you give the driver the incling you are a Newcastle United fan then you can see your fare rise to £35!!! A great night porter system availiable and we found the place very kid friendly which was a bonus. All in all if you take earplugs then you should have a great time. PS no cook for breakfast on a monday morning so its not good to eat there on that morning at all.
