We had an excellent stay at this friendly hotel. The food was very good, have the shepherd's pie if you can. Our room was very comfortable with beautiful views. Colin and Lillian made us feel we were visitng old friends, they were so helpful and friendly.

Stayed here for a short break and greatly enjoyed it. A good location for exploring Hadrian's Wall. We were made to feel very welcome by Colin and Lilian and would definitely go back.

We enjoyed a fantastic three day break at Hadrians Lodge Hotel.Being a family of eight, adults and children combined we received a warm welcome and much personal attention throughout our stay. The accommodation is well cared for, spacious, extremely clean and very comfortable. The food was great, home made, and lots of it,served in the lovely dining room. We enjoyed much fun in the evenings in the cosy lounge with family games etc. We found the lovely location of Hadrians Lodge provided us with easy access to the many historical places in the area,Hadrians Wall being close by.We Will certainly be making a return visit. Many thanks to our hosts Colin and Lilian for making our stay a very memorable one.

Highly recommended. Colin & Lilian provide a fantastic welcome, lovely people. The hotel is incredibly peaceful, situated close to "the Wall" in quite rural surroundings. The Kids really enjoyed the bunk beds and our family room was comfortable and well furnished. Pool and table football kept them well entertained and there is also a supply of games, cards etc. Comfortable bar and a simple but good quality menu from Colin. A great base to explore the surrounding area. Our thanks for a great stay. MaccaClan.
