IT WAS ADVERTISED HAS BED & BREAKFAST, SO WE BOOKED, WHEN WE HAD THE RETURN E-MAIL IT SAID THAT BREAKFAST WAS EXTRA. WE ARRIVED AFTER A LONG JOURNEY. BREAKFAST WAS,NT BAD.WENT OUT FOR THE DAY, GOT BACK AND FOUND THE BED WAS'NT MADE THE ROOM NOT CLEANED AT ALL. THE NEXT MORNING WE WENT FOR THE BREAKFAST. STARTED WITH CEREALS, THE MAIN PART OF THE FULL ENGLISH WAS BROUGHT BEFORE WE HAD FINISHED OUR CEREALS, SO WAS COLD. AS WAS THE DINNING ROOM, WENT OUT AGAIN FOR THE DAY, AND AGAIN BED NOT MADE, ROOM NOT CLEANED AGAIN, NEXT MORNING WE DECIDED TO HAVE THE CONTINMENTAL BREAKFAST, THERE WAS A WEDDING PARTY IN SO THE DINNING ROOM WAS A BIT WARMER. I DON'T THINK WE WILL BE RETURNING

I thought it was best to leave a comment to expain how lovely the Dark Cottages and lodge was. I wish i had stayed longer and would have if i didnt have to get back for work! It was beautifully set out and the pool and gym was great. The area was very quite and very relaxing. Would return without a doutb as staff were extreamly polite and helpful. Thank-you for a lovely break, i went home feeling very satisfied and relaxed. Regard Rebecca
