My wife and I held our Golden Wedding lunch here with more than 30 guests on 15th August, 2009. The ambience, service and food were all excellent and the proprietor, Michelle, was extremely helpful beforehand with preparations. Guests who live locally have all said that they intend to re-visit because they were so impressed with the food and the service. We certainly intend to revisit.

Our party of six went to the Stonemill for a special celebration. Three of the group had a good steak each, but missing the fois gras on the menu. The other three had John Dory. This was lukewarm, lacking in flavour and missing the langoustine sauce on the menu. Puddings were unusual and we have certainly had much better elsewhere. With a bill of £230, we were disappointed and will not be returning, nor recommending locally.
