The tel enquiry assured me there would be no parking problem, had it been the summer season we would not have been so lucky to be able to park! 21 rooms and only 6 parking bays .
The room was shabby beyond 'tired', light bulb gone, other light broken, toilet seat 'mobile' needed care to sit! and shower door did not operate, stuck fast so had to shower with door open! while bedding was clean the duvets were so old they were 'bobbled'
the noise from the other 'guests'(who we were sure were all DHSS guests)was more than just annoying especially at 12.30 at night! the breakfast was of the cheapest quality and cold, the toast was so rubbery you could not bite it there was no butter ,the milk jug for tea was chipped the juice had been left uncovered for a long period as did the milk for cereal.
I could go on but!!!!! the only saving grace was the staff, courteous and helpful we do not hold them in any way responsible for this miserable excuse for a 'hotel' will make sure our friends are aware and give it a wide berth.
