We stayed at Culloden House late last year. The best aspects of the historic house, in our opinion, would be these: the splendid setting, out of town; the characterful and grande Adam-style public rooms, the friendly Scots service, and the good dinner and at breakfast. The bedrooms our party stayed in were all comfortable and clean, some of the features and style a little dated. The reception desk could be less hotel-like. The old lounge bar is charming. This big house has its quirks but is basically a fine, spacious hotel with a lot of historic Scottish ambience and many pretty details." - T R Jamie (Belgium), 2005 "We have just spent 3 majestic days at Culloden House over New Year. The management and staff of this property are a credit to the industry. The staff are so friendly yet professional, the food was out of this world and the entertainment had been well thought out and allowed us time to do our own exploring. This was our first New Year away from London and I am delighted to say that I have instructed the Manager to book us in for next year. Well done Culloden House!" - Kenneth Graham (England), 2005 "Having enjoyed four wonderful days in the Inverness environs, I fully echo all the good things that have been said previously. The staff were impeccable in service, desire, and performance. The food was absolutely splendid, right down to our specially ordered haggis, and the post-dinner single malts. The custom of being seated in the grand lounge, while the piper played the sun down, and having a drink while perusing the menu, was a fine touch. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable - all that we could have wanted. The hospitality of the Davies family, before, during, and after our stay, made the entire experience memorable. Don’t even think about going somewhere else in the Inverness area, before trying Culloden House
