Thought it was disgusting the way the manager and two security came up to our caravan at 12am where we were having a drink as the 4 children in our party were sleeping, shouting at us because there there was to much noise, there wasn't the 4 children were sleeping so the noise was kept down. Not sure what the boss had been drinking or taking but was so out of control, real frightening experience. Also our electric was un plugged when we go back from the club house the boss admitted it was him and his attitude was its my site I'll do what I want. Not happy as all 4 children are under 3 and milk is an essential thing for them. After going down to reception in the morning was told that the reson that he had unplugged our electric was because there were two cars by our caravan on our pitch and that there was to much noise in the day even though it was raining and no one was out side or no music on. We all took our children swimming and to the play area so have no idea what that are getting at. We couldn't get seats in the club house on Friday and the showers were cold in the swimming pool. Would definitely not go back.any one who has chidren and want them to play and have fun this is obviously not the place.

this was the first time i went camping an have to say that i was converted the camp site we excellent the shower and toilet block were very clean, staff really helpful i will be going there again.

In the past have enjoyed an excellent and varied menu at the gate inn. yesterday I was very disappointed by the lack of choice of meals,I think they must have a new chef, definitely not up to their usual standard,the curry was watery, and very hot, I think to disguise the lack of flavour. My friends mushrooms were charred. I feel very let down after having so many nice meals there. Bring back the old chef we say.
