Best rates for a Local Hotel

I have used the Cape Cornwall Golf Club accommodation facilities for a few days in December. The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the surrounding stunning. That's probably the only positive points of my stay. The restaurant was a traumatic experience. While the food was acceptable, the staff showed no desire to deal with customers (i.e.: I came to the restaurant to have dinner, only to find out that it is exceptionally closed that night and that they forgot to advertise it to their customers. Not very convenient since I don't drive and the nearest town is 30 min walk away, in the dark). The extra features of the hotel were not mentioned to me when I booked or checked in (I only just found out they had a pool!) The decoration in the common areas is dated, but it probably has more charm than the piece of male underwear left on the ground in the car park (it was there for the 3 days of my stay, and is probably still there). A good stay if you want a cheap option and are prepared to put up with unpleasant and unhelpful staff (only 1 member of staff has been helpful during my stay there). Now I know I'm not.
