A fantastic event well done to BHF & Royal marine commando's. They put you through your paces .It is the ultimate challenge and you do get wet & muddy .Depends what fitness level you are at the last few obstacles really take it out of you of you. climbing over hay bales crawling through tunnels and other obstacles with water, Rough terrain it really shows what our armed forces go through in training the marines really help you through with their encouragement. If you think that you are tough and like a challenge this event is for you every runner stops and helps you if you are struggling. For a very worthy cause for british heart foundation. the joy that you get when you finish it is out of this world.

Really enjoyed it but would have been better if there was a bit more to see. Surely if there is so much undiscovered excavation should be ongoing. I thought that there would be activities for the children e.g fence weaving, pot making, etc. demonstrations of how life used to be and people dressed in costumes of that time. This would make the villa more interesting to younger people.
