Very good place to stay. A village shop is next to the hotel (but it closes quite early so get what you need when you arrive), and the hotel has a great restaurant. I had Chicken liver pate, rump steak and cheese board and they were extremely good and reasonably priced. Just 5 minuted walk to a quiet beach, some cafes + pubs + a lovely antique shop. The good looking owner is such a hard working guy who works round the clock, and he is indeed very helpful, and the lady who took care of us at the breakfast is so lovely and friendly. The place may be a tad noisy before the bar closes, but usually very quiet. Will go back sometime this summer again.

What an absolutely quintessential English pub! We were made immediately welcome and our hosts were the most generous and accommodating I have come accross in many a year! As a mixed party we will be looking to actually stay in the pub next year we were so immpressed! Well done and keep it up!
