I randomly selected the Inn/Pub while traveling late. Arrived unexpected, but management was very courteous and friendly. Pub was definitely worth a visit, for the beer and local patrons.
Room was clean and simple, which was exactly what I hoped. Breakfast was excellent and I had the best shower experienced in all of UK (which included some large hotels).
The local village was definitely worth a walkthrough visit, including the local thatched roof houses, the church and the associated grave yard. Local access to sea shore via Stoke Point is also worth a visit.
I would recommend for future travelers.

Good Points: Excellent reception during a very busy period at the Hotel. The room was very clean, adequate for the price, albeit basic. Breakfast was first class, pleasingly and cheerfully served by the Resident Landlady.
Bad Points: Nothing to complain about
General review: Excellent staff, particularly the managing partners, who were cheerful and efficient at all times: are to be congratulated on their professionalism
