I hand in and collect my grandmothers prescriptions as she is unable to get to the surgery herself and every single time I go there is some kind of problem. Mainly with the reception team, none of them know what they are doing, constantly loose or misplace important letters and prescriptions, rude attitudes and general bad customer service.

the receptionist staff here are absolutly terrible i honestly think they dont give a damb, the doctors also arnt much better it took them 4 weeks to diagnose me and that was only after i asked to be tested for something completly diffrent, wen finally after more then 14 blood tests in the space of 4 weeks i got a diagnosis but to top it all of ive waited 5months for my first appointment at the hospital. My husband also went to see them last week and they were suppose to send a letter to the hospital so he could get an appointment for his opperation but wen he phoned them to ask if they had heard anything from the hospital yet he was told by the receptionist that none of the letters had been sent out yet as the lady whi does it had been of for the last week, i find this diabolical and cant see how they find this acceptable.

The reception staff at this surgery are SHOCKING!! They generally don't know what they are doing, have very poor customer service skills and are rude and unhelpful!

I was very angry at the attitude of the receptionist on the 15/02/2011, I rang up the doctors to receive a NHS number for the dentist as in pain. The receptionist said I couldn't receive this as it is fraud and needed to go down to the Doctors, which was the other side of Reading, also needed proof of ID. After all this was expected to travel back to the Dentist to make an appointment. When asking for the receptionist's name she declined to give her name, which i'm sure is against all customer services!! When relising she didn't know what she was doing, then said to me she will call back. Then to my surprise never heard anything since!

This is my usual doctor, and I phoned this morning to inform them of an injury I recieved over the weekend. I wanted to ask about a particular scar treatment that had been recommended, but the receptionist couldn't wait to get rid of me. In the past, the receptionists in particular have been aggressive, rude, and seem to go out of their way to be unhelpful, and seem to be averse to the very idea of "care".

i phoned the appointment booking line at 11.30am and managed to speak to some one after several attempts and i was told to ring back at 2.00pm as there was no appointments for the morning so i tried to call the surgery from 1.59 till 2.07pm on the same day to make an appointment the line was constantly engaged and i was fed up and decided to pop in as the surgery was only few mins away from where i live. when i popped in to the counter without even looking at the computer screen the receptionist told me that the evening session is completely booked for the day!!! what a fantastic service?????? may be the receptionsist memorised all the appointments??? or some favours??? when i asked for a complaint form i was told that the doctor will ring you??? it has been nearly 2 hrs still no phonecall!!!! maybe once the patient is dead they might have time to call back.... whata service we have at long barnlane ai!!!!!
