'Mary Queen of Scots' was a great play, a really enaging evening! The actors were all very good in their characters and the direction was entertaining and interesting- it really pulled an audience in. Their Mary was good, and almost underplayed which added more sympathy to her role. The Elizabeth and Leicester were fantastic and helped build up pace and colour to the performance. The only thing which let it down was the theatre which seemed to have no air conditioning and got far, far to hot... only a good show would have kept me back in after the interval... this did. I can really recommend it to all!
