Myself and my brother stayed at Kempfield house earlier this month, as we were in town to check out the university. We couldn't have been more happy with our accomodation. We stayed in the Pavillion Room, which is a twin room at the rear of the building. We were met by Rob on our arrival, who was very friendly and helped us with our bags and showed us to our room. The room was large and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Mini bar with complimentary drinks, and a TV/DVD player. Location is ideal, two minute walk from the pier, and plenty of lovely little bars and restaurants in the area. The only small problem was the parking, Brigton is a nightmare to park in. It's £12.50 in the multi-story for 24 hours. I highly recommend Kempfield house, and I would certainly choose it again. Great value for money:-)

We arrived at the guest house at 11.05 on Saturday morning to be greated by the owner who was very helpful and issued us with a parking permit which cost £6 for 24 hours (bargain, free on Sunday's) that allowed you to park in any of the streets to the right of the road for up to 7 miles or so. Parking isn't that easy but we were lucky enough to park quite near. We couldn't check into our rooms until 2.00 so we went shopping. When we arrived back at the guest house to check into our room, it was nice, quick and easy. The room (2) was very large and had bay window to the front street (we were pleasantly suprised that the road wasn't noisy). We were concerned that the website stated min 2 nights, but had no problems for the 1 night only. They provided bottled water, coke and a small bottle of red and white wine which was nice and also some mint chocolates! The only thing that wasn't supplied that was stated on the website was the dressing gowns/robes. The shower gel and soaps in the room were very nice. The house and room was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was nice, didn't fill stomachs too much but was enough after a night out on the town. The location was perfect, 2 minute walk to the Pier and 5 minutes away from the Lanes. Would certainly go back again! B+
