Called in for a meal for me and my wife. My wife had salmon with new potatoes and a bit of brocolli (the season veg!!!).
When it arrived the salmon was no more than 1 1/2" wide and length about 5" long. Half of the length didn't even have a thickness, it was totally dry and couldn't be eat because it was that chewy. The rest of the salmon was just as dry. Horrible. My wife eat what she could but did NOT enjoy it - especially paying £9.95 for it.
I'm no chef by a long shot but could of cooked it better than that - I would have been embaressed to serve it to anyone!!!
The waitress came over looked at us and said eveything ok before we spoke she said oh yes and started to walk away.
My wife pointed out that the salmon was dry and was offered a desert. Which she said no thank you too. The waitress then said she would sort something out for it. She didn't bother, when we got up to leave the waitress quickly hid around the corner. So much for sorting it out.
Problem was we had paid for the meal when we ordered it. We will not be returning, no chance of that.
The rest of the meal was a joke - a bit of brocolli and a few tiny new potatoes. I'm sure seasonal veg means more than brocolli.
Even my meal wasn't up to much.
