September 3 2010 is a date I will not forget, unfortunately not for the wonderful 30th birthday celebration but for a horrible experience at the Restaurant of the Hotel du Vin. They should stop trading! We waited for an hour and 15 minutes to get served and after our dishes arrived we still had to chase them to get our bread basket!!! When the dishes arrived, the boiled veg had a lot to be desired and the food was extremely minimalistic! What took them so long!? Indeed there is NO service at this place. We were ignored, forgotten. If this was any other night I would be disappointed and perhaps decide to never go back but it was a special day and they knew it. Any apologies and offers from the management were simply offensive because there is nothing they can offer to lift an angry customers' mood. They really spoiled a very special day.
