Just thought i'd leave a few words of appreciation. We used this site to look for somewhere to go and noticed you can leave comments so here we go. We've found our own little gem in our county where we live. never could bring myself to drive up the winding drive to the big manor house before, this you can see from the road side. Thought it could be expensive eh!! It was a special occasion so i braved it. from the first phone call i felt the the friendly reception from the young lady on the phone. arrived and met at the door. Shown into the lounge by the fire. Had our meal and wow. what creative food and the flavours were so memorable. I had the Scallops with the pineapple, had to have the beef with the mushrooms and peanut parfait. The wife had the pigeon, Halibut with king prawns and The chcolate dessert. Fantastic. Also what a beutifull hotel inside and recently done aswell. Credit to you and we will find another excuse to revisit soon. Well worth being brave eh. John
