We have just returned from a wonderful anniversary weekend at the Manor. Our hosts, Phil, Lilian. Laura and Richard (and their gorgeous pooches 'Stach and Abbigail!)couldn't have been more accomadating. The four poster bed was very comfy and the en-suite bathroom more than adequate. The room was beautifully furnished although slightly smaller than we are used to. However, this did not detract from the comfort or enjoyment of our stay. The breafast was served in a lovely, bright and once again, beautifully furnished room. The breakfast itself was scrumptious and enough to set you up for the rest of the day.
We enjoyed the bar facilities and their was no problem having a bottle of sparkly served in the delightful garden by a huge seqoia (spelling?)tree. The weather was fab which of course added to the whole experience, but I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Lowbyer Manor to anyone who appreciates good hospitality, lovely surroundings and a great breakfast!
