This is a very slick hotel in every sense of the word. Smooth check-in, nice calm (if slightly on the small side) room with excellent ensuite. A water feature in the overlooked courtyard that was delightful to sleep to, big comfy bed too. They in-hotel bar brasserie buzzed by day and night and unusually was actually a place we wanted to frequent. The food was good, not spectacular but worth it and, judging by the amount of customers the locals clearly rate it too. Crab liniguine was plentiful, Bass with fennel light yet heartening. Bar snacks definitely delicious. A good breakfast (included within the price) was also enjoyed. Just to complete the theme the Old Bank is perfectly located for the really beautiful city centre (and I do mean perfectly). If you have never been to Oxford you must and if you do a stay at this hotel will not let you down.
