The Hotel has six comfortable bedrooms, elegantly decorated in keeping with the traditional look of the establishment. Amongst its facilities the hotel boasts four bars, a large function hall, intimate restaurant, private garden and conservatory. Our food is superbly prepared to a high standard using fresh and local produce. Our menus are varied and imaginative with all dishes attractively and genourously proportioned. Why not compliment your meal with a bottle of fine wine from our selection from around the globe. Close to the Hotel is the historic Roslin Chapel housing the famous Apprentice Pillar, built in the 15th century and overlooking Roslin Castle which dates back to 1304. Nearby is Roslin Glen providing ideal countryside for scenic walks and a peaceful getaway, with many historical places of interest. For the more energetic guests there are many nearby golf courses and a local driving range. There is also a leisure centre with a swimming pool in the nearby town of Loanhead. The village itself is also an ideal base for many local tourist attractions and is situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh, some seven miles from Princes Street and is easily accessible from all directions.
