Set in mature gardens with mountain views, Mansefield, a popular guest house, lies on the Road to the Isles. Your hosts Toby & Bev specialise in providing comfort, relaxation and seriously good food! Guests are welcome to relax in the Sitting Room overlooking the garden. The Victorian style of the room is emphasised by the log fire, making for a cosy atmosphere during those colder nights we sometimes have here in Scotland! There are many books and magazines to read, in addition to lots of tourist information to help you plan your next day's sightseeing excursions. Wherever possible we use fresh Scottish produce obtained locally. Breakfast: Guests can choose from a selection of fresh grapefruit & orange segments, yoghurt, cereals or porridge, followed by a choice of various cooked breakfasts. (eg smoked haddock, boiled, poached or scrambled eggs (served with smoked salmon if desired) or a full Scottish Breakfast). Breakfast is served in the dining room (overlooking the garden) between 7.30am & 8.30am. In the Local Area: The world famous Treasures of the Earth. Start of the Caledonian Canal and Neptunes Staircase (floodlit at night, see picture at bottom of page) Corpach's own "Standing Stones" in the village centre (see photo) Scottish Country Dancing in the Village Hall. ......and within a few miles (Fort William Area) Nevis Range Ski Centre and Gondola (open all year), Glen Nevis with its splendid views, Climb Ben Nevis but be well prepared Ben Nevis Distillery, An abundance of forest, hill and mountain walks, Steam Train from Fort William to Mallaig (from June to September), Boat trips to Seal Island Loch Linnhe.
