Deal Maritime and Local History Museum contains the last remaining Deal Galley, the Saxon King, as well as one of the "little ships" that rescued British troops from Dunkirk. Besides collections of historic life jackets and model boats, the Museum hosts exhibitions of local history. The Museum is open every Saturday from May to October and afternoons from June to October (Tuesdays through to Fridays).
