Defying all attempts at imitation, The Glenlivet is unique. Made using only the finest barley and the crystal clear, icy water from Josie's Well, the ancient spring that draws water from deep within this magical land. In the enchanted Speyside glen, the raw elements of life itself are transformed into the pure golden essence of The Glenlivet. For to make 'uisge beatha' is to make magic, and to make The Glenlivet is the finest magic of all.

A visit to the distillery will take you on a fascinating journey to the source of one of the greatest names in Scotch Whisky. Discover the story of George Smith, founder of the distillery in 1824. A tale of smugglers, illicit stills, conflicts, all come to life before you in the interactive exhibition. On your tour, view the large wooden vats, copper stills and a vast bonded warehouse, and after your tour sample a little magic.
