A winner of 13 major awards, Catalyst offers a great day out - where science and technology fuse with fun through a host of interactive exhibits and hands-on displays. Catalyst is the only museum/science centre in Europe which explores the science and technology behind chemistry and the Chemical Industry and its impact on our lives. Interactive puzzles, computers, activities and demonstrations in the four exhibition galleries, assist in proving a unique experience for all members of the family. During school holidays, the ever-changing family workshops cover a variety of topics, anything from making magnificent bubbles to forensic science. Amazing views from the scenic glass lift and the Observatory. Elements café and gift shop help make the visit complete.
