Originally built in the early 1900's as a private house, Higher Trapp has been magnificently converted into a country hotel with 29 tastefully decorated bedrooms, 2 function rooms and a locally renowned restaurant. An ideal base for countryside walks, the hotel is also just 5 minutes from junction 8 of the M65, and a short drive from Manchester’s city centre, making it an ideal choice for both business and pleasure.

The hotel has 2 meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 100 delegates. Both a day delegate rate and a 24 hour rate are available.
For special occasions, the wonderful views and gardens provide the perfect backdrop for memorable photographs. The inside is beautifully renovated with 2 rooms suitable for all events.
