Pub and Bars in Monks Eleigh
The Swan is an attractive thatched pub very close to the historical town of Lavenham. It has recommendations from all the main guides, AA, Which? Michelin, Timeout & has received a star in the Egon Ronay Gastro pub guide.There are 8 tables in the bar with an open fire, here you can enjoy a drink or something to eat from our blackboard menu. We also have 2 other rooms that can accomodate larger parties.We only use produce in season & our menu reflects this, it changes almost daily. Our menu has been stirred by Nigel's experiences in the catering industry. He was head chef at the Walnut Tree Inn, Abergavenny & spent the early part of his career at Miller Howe. We run a series of cookery courses during the year, starting with Italian Kitchen on 2nd March. We can provide outside catering for most occasions. We supply our local village shop with produce i.e bread, spicy rump burgers & salmon fishcakes. We are open from Wed - Sun for lunch & dinner. Open for Lunch & Dinner o n 14th February.
