Arties Mill is a charming old windmill originaly built circa 1790 The Mill is located 1 mile from the town of Brigg which has a colourful history of markets and fairs.

Brigg first grew as a crossing point on the river Ancholme taking its name from the bridge constructed to make east-west journeys easier. Sadly, its sails have been dismantled but the Mill owners, havee preserved many interesting features of the old building. The Mill interior and the adjoining grain sheds have been attractively converted into bars, restaurants and function rooms.
