Highfield House, dating from 1730's, is situated on the edge of a village. The house is surrounded by its own lovely gardens of approx 2 acres which include an astroturf tennis court. Splendid views of the Edinburgh skyline, the hills of Fife and the Forth Road Bridges. Easy access to Edinburgh by train (station 3 minutes walk), bus or car.
Highfield is comfortably furnished, and delicious breakfasts, fruit from the garden, home made jams, porridge and free range eggs are all on the menu and served in the elegant dining room.
