More Information

Set in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains, our 17th Century inn generates warmth and ambiance for that special break. 10 miles from the coastal and university town of Aberystwyth, see the Red Kite & spectacular scenery from our rooms. Our famous and renowned 17th Century hotel is set in the heart of the stunning Cambrian Mountains of mid-Wales. The hotel is perched on the edge of the Rheidol Gorge and has stunning views from most rooms.

We offer wide selection of traditional English, home cooked food. As an alternative, you may wish to enjoy a drink and a meal in either of our two lounge bars, where you can relax by the log fires. All rooms are en- suite and are located on two floors with easy access. Some rooms are larger than others, but all offer a high standard of cleanliness. Ample car parking and lock-ups for motor cycles and bicycles are available and we are also situated only 1 mile from the increasingly popular mountain bike trails of Nant-yr-Arian. There is no more to be said - just experience the unique warmth, ambiance and atmosphere of our lovely hotel - you won't be disappointed.
All bedrooms and the restaurant are non-smoking
