The Lion Inn is a 16th Century Country Inn offering luxury bed and breakfast with excellent food and wine in the peaceful village of Gwytherin near Betws y Coed, North Wales.

Available at the Lion Inn are 6 cosy en-suite bedrooms, tastefully refurbished to a high standard providing comfortable accommodation at good value prices. No two rooms are identical, each has individual style and have been refurbished with home comforts; sumptuous beds with colourful, hand-woven, traditional Welsh throws. .

A warm welcome awaits you from Rose and her team in our stylish restaurant. Our resident Chef produces dishes cooked with imagination, talent and flair which are beautifully presented using fresh local Welsh produce. We have a menu that is interesting, local, freshly prepared and cooked, but not too posy!
