Holmefield, a prestigious 5 Star awarded guest house with special good food award from the AA, is an elegant, spacious, Victorian country home located between Bakewell and Matlock and on the doorstep of the renowned Chatsworth Estate, with many other popular attractions for both young and old alike nearby.
The house is set in 3/4 of an acre of sheltered south facing gardens, enjoying uninterrupted views over the Derwent valley, which provide an enviable setting for guests to enjoy a drink and relax, light meals can also be ordered to be taken in the garden if preferred. A further delightful feature of the setting is the Historic Peak steam railway which can be seen from the house running between Matlock and Rowsley at weekends and most days during peak times, helping to create an atmosphere of a bygone era.
Holmefield provides plenty of well lit parking space with ample turning room
