Park Farm Hotel is conveniently situated only 1 mile from the A1 and 5 miles south of Newcastle City centre, yet is surrounded by mature gardens and peaceful countryside, making it the ideal place to get away from it all.

The former 18th century farm was once part of Ravensworth estate which still contains the ruins of Ravensworth castle. Among the many visitors in the castle guest book were Sir Walter Raleigh, Ann Boleyn, Samuel Pepys and Oliver Cromwell who enjoyed a stay before fighting the Duke of Northumberland.

The Farmhouse which now comprises the cosy bar area and features original beams and stove, was built in the 1700’s by the Gray family whose descendents farm the surrounding land today.

This truly unique venue is the ideal place for any occasion, whether you are here on business or pleasure
