Set in 175 acres of gorgeous North Yorkshire Parkland – just North of Ripon - Lightwater Valley Theme Park, Shopping Village and Birds of Prey Centre is renowned for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The thrilling theme park line-up comprises some amazing rides, including Europe’s longest rollercoaster - The Ultimate, as well as the stomach churning, mighty Eagle’s Claw and a giant triple shoot water slide – The Falls of Terror! However, if you prefer to take things at a more leisurely pace, you can take a gentle stroll around our picturesque lake, enjoy a relaxing game of crazy golf or just climb aboard the Lightwater Express for a round-the-park train ride.

Located in the grounds of Lightwater Valley Theme Park, you'll also find our awe-inspiring Birds of Prey Centre. Established to raise awareness of a wide selection of breath-taking birds, this facility offers a truly unique experience. Also within the Lightwater Valley Bird of Prey Centre is the Creepy Crawly Cave - feel the shivers down your spine as you come face-to-face with snakes, a tarantula, frogs, toads, rats and even Australian Bearded Dragons! Likewise, are you brave enough to handle Murphy, our 10 foot Burmese Python?

And if you have time, don’t forget that our shopping village is home to an oasis of retail therapy with over 30,000 square feet of inspired shopping. It really is the perfect place to indulge yourself with a relaxing stroll through our charming indoor village or a spot of lunch in our Granary restaurant.
