Minutes from Newstead Abbey and Sherwood Forest, Oak House, Ravenshead, is a recently extended and refurbished spacious family house providing high quality bed and breakfast; it is within walking distance of the 15th Century 'Hutt' Inn. Southwell Minster and the city of Nottingham are only a short 20 minute drive away. Two fully en-suite double / twin rooms are available, with hopefully all the small luxuries you can think of to make your stay a comfortable one. Oak House is owned by sculptress Philippa Ordan. In-house sculpture classes are available as part of a longer stay holiday experience.

A cosy Sitting room is available downstairs just off the lobby (see picture right). The room has a good selection of books if you would just like to relax and read by the fire. A full English breakfast is served in the sitting room. We offer vegetarian alternatives where relevant.
