Just two minutes' stroll from Longsands' splendid Blue Flag beach, this charming renovated cottage is ideally located for beach lovers, walkers and surfers. Tynemouth is known for its variety of water sports, the national surfing championships are held here. A 10 minute walk leads to the Castle and Priory, in their commanding position overlooking King Edwards bay (pictured). Newcastle city centre is a ½ hour Metro train ride away. Gateshead's Baltic art centre and Sage music venue are in easy reach as are the Northumberland coast's many attractions. Pub serving food 200 yards, shops ½ mile.
