Built in 1851, cosy Pocket Cottage is tucked away down a quiet road in the heart of the old Cinque Port town of Tenderden, just 100 yards from its wide, tree lined High Street. With its wealth of beautiful historic buildings and interesting shops and restaurants, Tenderden certainly befits its description as the 'Jewel of the Weald', and is ideally located for exploring the 'Garden of England'. Leeds Castle, Sissinghurst Castle gardens and Scotney Castle gardens are within easy reach whilst further afield but well worth a visit, is Canterbury with its magnificent cathedral. Dover for day trips to France, the charming fishing port of Rye and Camber Sands are easily accessible. Shops and pubs 100 yards.
