The Bridgend House Hotel is situated by the Red Bridge over the river Teith in one of the oldest parts of Callander, Bridgend in the Trossachs Scotland. The Bridgend House Hotel is run by David and Liz Hutchby. Recently (April 2009) we have been mentioned in the Daily Telegraph 70 Great British Pubs and the Scotsman on Sunday (May 2009) praised the qulaity of our food and the fantastic beer garden. The atmosphere in this family run hotel is friendly and informal, there is a wood burning stove with comfortable seating in the cosy and inviting bar area. There is a large function room available for weddings and events, looking out on to the garden, Callander meadows and the river Teith, towards Ben Ledi and the Trossachs. The Bridgend House Hotel boasts great pub food and a healthy selection of drinks including real ales and malt whiskies together with a quality range of wines and champagne. We are proud to be the holders of the Cask Marque, awarded for the quality of our real ales. Our rooms come with magnificent views across Callander and the Trossachs, making this hotel the ideal base to explore the wonders of the surrounding area.
