Nestled in 65 acres of organically managed sub-tropical gardens and parkland on the banks of the tranquil Helford River in Cornwall. All bedrooms are en suite and greet you with fresh seasonal flowers and a complimentary bottle of Cornish still water. Bathrobes, slippers and the leading Elemis Spa range of toiletries plus swimming pool towels are provided, also direct dial telephone, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The majority of Superior rooms have a trouser press and the most wonderful views over the golf course or gardens. The hotel boast's an AA Rosette award winning restaurant which serves a full English breakfast and four course evening meals using fresh local produce. Head Chef and the brigade of staff focus on the best of Cornish seafood, meat and vegetables to suit all tastes. Local musicians play during dinner every evening. Gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket and tie after 7:00pm in the hotel cocktail bar and main restaurant. For those who prefer less formality the Country Club Room provides the same menu and service. Country Club diners are asked to dress smartly; no jeans, combat trousers, shorts, t-shirts or trainers please. For the hotter months of July and August, jackets are optional for the gentlemen. Leisure facilities include the spectacular indoor heated pool and sauna which opens out onto the sun terrace. A short dash from the pool is the outdoor hot tub surrounded by timber decking overlooking the grounds. The Natural Health Spa allows you to relax and unwind with a wide variety of treatments, facials, massage, body and holistic therapy. The golf course is set in mature parkland within the hotel grounds; and guests can enjoy unlimited use at no charge, plus a complimentary golf locker and reduced green fees at the various local courses. There are also two all weather tennis courts, and full length snooker table. There are many activities to enjoy in the immediate area including the hire of motor boats, sailing dinghies and yachts, or enjoy a ride on the 19 foot open river boat, the Hannah Molly. There are a number of water sport activity providers offering a full range from power boat cruising, fishing, sailing lessons, kayaking and many more. There are many inland and coastal walks for all levels of ability. Local attractions include Trebah Gardens, Glendurgan, Minack Theatre, St Michael's Mount, Tate Gallery, Land's End, Trerice, Lanhydrock, Pendennis Castle, Goonhilly Earth Station, National Seal Sanctuary, Eden Project, National Maritime Museum and Blue Reef Aquarium.
