Vince & Hayley welcome you to The Pelican Inn, a friendly pub & restaurant, conveniently located just a short drive from Salisbury on the A36. Whether you want a night out, a few days break, or just one night's bed and breakfast, the Pelican Inn concentrates on quality. Visitors today can enjoy the authentic atmosphere of an historic inn at the same time as relaxing in comfort in the bar or out on the terrace, sampling the excellent food, wines, beers - and service. The restaurant was originally the Stable Block attached to the coaching inn, the walls are of the original stone and the floor is a beautifully polished jet black that reflects the reds and oranges of the open log fire in winter or the sun streaming in from the garden in summer. Lunch and Dinner is served daily with all food being prepared from as many local sources as possible ensuring that you will always receive the freshest and tastiest meals. Alongside our lunch and evening menus we also run a Specials Board with a wide selection of meals from Lamb Shank to Kangaroo Steak and Wild Mushroom Stroganoff to Seabass with a White Wine and Strawberry Sauce, these meals are subject to change daily. To make your stay even more relaxed, we have 3 double rooms and 2 family/twin rooms to let, all of which are in a purpose built ground floor chalet style accommodation block situated in the riverside garden. The rooms are all ensuite and have tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hairdryer and television. .
