Cookham is a pretty village in Berkshire on the River Thames, the scenic area is a delight for walkers, with many country walks, or perhaps a stroll to Cookham Lock where the thrill of watching woodpeckers, kingfishers, and kestrels will fill many an artists page. Stanley Spencer the famous artist lived here and an Art Gallery displays some of his work.
