| Events in Brean Sands | 10 Places to Stay

Situated on the northern coast of Somerset, overlooking the Bristol Channel, Brean Sands is part of the longest and largest inlet in England's coastline. The sand stretches from the seaside resort of Burnham-on-Sea, past the holiday villages of Berrow and Brean Sands to the headland of Brean Down. There is a full range of accommodation available in the area including campsites and holiday camps. Activities and facilities include fishing lakes and golf courses, swimming pools and entertainment complexes, some of which have direct access to the beach. The seven mile beach is one of the area's biggest attractions, the trade mark nine legged lighthouse on the beach helps give it all the ingredients for a traditional English seaside holiday. You can also visit Brean Leisure Park, the Animal Farm Adventure Park at Berrow, Brean Down and Brean Down Fort. Keen walkers may wish to try the Coleridge walk which takes in 36 miles of the beautiful countryside nearby. Other attractions in the area are Wookey Hole, Cheddar Caves and Gorge, Longleat Safari Park, Seaquarium and the Wildlife Park at Cricket St. Thomas. Brean Sands has all the ingredients required to make a good English family seaside resort.
