Redcar is a lovely seaside resort. It is able to offer attractions and facilities for all ages - whether bringing the family to the beach then going for fish and chips or ice cream, there is much to do and see.
How about a trip up to Kirkleathlam village on the border of Redcar?? There you will find a owl sanctuary and the home of Kirkleathlam Museum, which holds the history of the area and also a play area for the children. on the seafront however you will find the leisure centre and the life boat museum, home to the zetland lifeboat.
If you turn into the town behind the seafront you will find shops galore, a shoppers paradise, also with the new Regents Walk development (outdoor shopping centre).
There are pleanty of good places to eat in Redcar including fish and chip shops, restaurants and cafes.
If you dont fancy visiting redcar by day why not come by night, you will find a very busy night life packed with bustling bars, restaurants and clubs, a lot of which are open to the early hours of the morning.
Redcar is home of a list of beautiful accommodation situated either in the town centre or overlooking the magnificent views of the sea, with all facilities you need close at hand.
Redcar is also an ideal base from which to explore the North Yorkshire Moors, Captain Cook Country and the Local attractions at Saltburn and guisborough. Population 34,000
