Born 1972 – Rugby Union player.

Played most of his career at Northampton (1991-2004) before moving to Wasps as scrum-half (2004-2006). Made his debut for England in 1995 winning a total of 77 caps, including nine as Captain. Was part of England’s 2003 World Cup winning side. Since retirement has made numerous television appearances including A Question of Sport, Celebrity Masterchef and Strictly Come Dancing. Joined BBC Radio Five Live as summariser for the Six Nations.
