Known as part of the duo Gilbert and George. Studied at the Oxford School of Art. Met Gilbert Proesch in 1967 while studying sculpture at St Martins School of Art. Initially known as performance artists but best known for their large scale photo-montages which often include imagery such as nudity, depictions of sexual acts and bodily fluids.
