Born 1952 - English musician and record producer.
Met Annie Lennox in 1976 forming the band The Catch, then The Tourists and finally Eurythmics. Became one of the most successful bands of the 1980s until their split after the release of We Too Are One. Reunited in 1999 for the album Peace and a world tour. Stewart released a number of solo albums including Spiritual Cowboys and Greetings from the Gutter. Has also written film soundtracks, documentaries and made debut as a director In Honesty (2000). Formed a record label called Anxious Records.
