Alexander Armstrong is most celebrated for his comedy partnership with Ben Miller, but he has worked in various other fields with much success, perhaps most surprisingly as a musician – he won a choral scholarship to Trinity College, Cambridge, plays the piano and oboe, has fronted his own band, and has presented a weekend show on Classic FM. Additionally Armstrong has acted in a range of TV and radio roles, and is a familiar primetime TV face as host of Pointless.
